IGNOU Grievance System

IGNOU Grievance Redressal 

Being distance learner you may have query and grievance. University has many channels to address the grievance of leaner for swift resolution and help the Learner.Before raising Grievance, learner must understand the structure of ORGANISATION  it will help you to understand WHOM TO APPROACH AND WHEN. IGNOU has below structure of authorities and functionaries.

 

 

Study Center , Regional Center and HQ has different  areas of operation. Student must understand the nature of grievance and then approach to the right authority. If the grievance is unattended then student may escalate the issue to higher authority at RC or HQ.


Followings are common student grievance:

  • Non receipt of admission confirmation: Approach to SRD
  • Non receipt of refund of admission fee (in case of rejection) : Approach to SRD
  • Non receipt of ID card: Approach to RC
  • Non receipt of Study Material : Approach to MPDD / RC.
  • Non receipt of intimation for Academic Counselling classs, Practical Session: Approach to SC/ RC.
  • Non Updation of Assignment marks : Approach to SC -> RC-> register on iGRAM .
  • Non declaration of TEE/Project/ Dissertation/ Practical result: Approach to SED.
  • Non declaration of Re-evaluation result: Approach to SED.
  • Non receipt of Marks card/Provisional Certificate / Convocation Certificate (for pass out learner): Approach to SED
  • Verification of certificate & credentials write to registrarsed@ignou.ac.in, gcverification@ignou.ac.in

IGNOU has designed Grievance Redress systems that is called iGRAM. Learner can register their complaint on this portal. Click Here to go to Grievance Portal (iGRAM). Apart from this, Learner can also write an Email to the Concerned Regional Centre or SED, SRD, MPDD, or SSC at HQ based on the nature of Grievance. All the email IDs of these Authorities is available on the University Website.
