Assignment status shows whether assignment data transmitted electronically or not. Assignment status for TEE June 2025 is available from July month onward. Assignment Status is updated by the concerned Study Center or Regional Center.

IGNOU Assignment , Project, Practical submission status is being released incrementally. IGNOU assignment status shows the present status of assignment submitted by students. The assignment status is entered by study center. The NEW link to check assignment status is given in Table below. This data is forwarded by Study Center or Regional Center and can be checked on ignou.ac.in. On this same platform you can check the status of project and practical status also.

• Enter your enrollment number.
• Select your programme.
• Click on submit button.

Why IGNOU Assignment status is not showing

Possible reasons for non updating the IGNOU assignment award is given below. In such case student need to approach correctly for updation of their assignment marks.

IGNOU Assignment status is displayed generally after 30 to 40 days from the final last date for that TEE session (June / December). The possible  Many Reasons for non reflection of assignment status is listed below. IGNOU Assignment status for December 2024 has started showing now on the website. It indicates the course code for which assignment data is entered and sent.

IGNOU Assignment status is almost 45% completed for December 2024 Session. Assignment portal has started showing the status "Received to be processed" online. Generally Once the assignment submission date is over, Study Center takes necessary  steps to get the assignment evaluated and is sent to the approved evaluator / Academic Counsellor of IGNOU for evaluation. Later when Evaluator completes the evaluation and tabulation of marks course wise then it submitted to the Study Center Co-ordinator. Later it is uploaded on the University website.

The Status of IGNOU assignment for June session starts showing on the portal from July onwards. In the same way December session assignment status starts showing in January. The Process of forwarding the marks of assignment the study center has just started for December session.

Assignment status is updated in this intermediate portal when mark / grade is transmitted by Study Center or RC. Status can be checked online minimum after one month of submission. Assignment, Practical, Project marks status first reflects on this intermediate portal, later it is updated in IGNOU Grade card.

It is important to submit the assignment before last date in order to avoid loss of six month or one session. When IGNOU Assignment Marks reflect in IGNOU Grade Card Online ?

It may take approximately 30 days to get updated in the online Grade Card after the online transmission by your IGNOU Study Center/Regional Center.

Why My IGNOU assignment status showing online but not updated in grade card?

There are some cases when Assignment grades are not reflected in Online IGNOU Grade Card even if it is forwarded by Study Center and it appears in intermediate status of assignment portal with the status “Check Grade Card Status for detail”.  The possible reason for non updation of assignment mark in grade card is given below

Reason 1: The first possible reason for such cases is, student may have submitted the assignment to the Study Center before their due  session and without completing minimum duration of study.

Example: Student of Jan 2024 admission Cycle (MEG which is Year based) is eligible to submit assignment in Sept / October 2024 – for TEE DEC 2024 Session. If such student submits assignment for TEE June 2024 session then data of such student will not be updated on the grade card. In such case student need to contact study center or Regional center for further guidance.

Reason 2: The Second possible reason for such cases is, Student submit the assignment to the Study Center after their maximum validity of Admission.

This is the sole responsibility of students to submit the assignment in correct session and after completion of minimum duration and before the maximum Admission Validity or else marks will not be updated in the grade card. For further clarity contact your regional center.

When should I see IGNOU Assignment submission status ?

The status of assignment submitted for June Session starts reflecting on the website from June / July month. Similarly the status of assignment submitted for December Session starts reflecting on the website from December / January month.

Why my IGNOU Assignment mark is not updated in Grade Card online ? Discrepancy in course code ?

Any discrepancy, such as course code error, updation with wrong course code and wrong session etc, in your assignment submission status, you may bring to the notice of Co-ordinator OR functionaries of study center for immediate resolution.

If any discrepancy found : Student need not to be panic. They should contact Study Center Co-ordinator in the Month of

1. August/ September for assignment  submitted for June Session.
2. Feb/ March for assignment submitted for December Session.
