Change of IGNOU Regional Center
How to Change IGNOU Regional Center
IGNOU offers student to change their Regional Center during their study. Student may need to change of RC because of their personal reason or job relocation etc.
For Change of Regional Center application can be submitted in two ways. First is via Hard copy application by personal visit to RC / by Post. Secondly, this request can be made via Email also. Student has to write an Email application to the Regional Centre from where you seek a transfer marking copies to the Regional Centre (New) where you would like to be transferred.
Student who belong to Practical oriented Programme need to obtain "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE" from the concerned New Regional Centre and submit to the present Regional Center.
Note : Change of Regional center is not allowed for OL Programme Learners.
Recently IGNOU has made provision to apply ONLINE for Change of Regional Center or Study Center. Student need to login in the student portal and apply online for the same. Once leaner apply successfully for change of RC or SC it may take a couple of week to update on the website.
What is NOC in IGNOU
NOC stands for No Objection Certificate. As you know IGNOU has several regional centre and several study centre across the country. All the programme is not activated at all the study centres. New RC has to issue NOC for incoming student then only RC change application can be processed. This NOC is required mainly while changing your Regional Centre and your programme is Practical Oriented.
