LOST of IGNOU ID Card
These days since IGNOU ID Card is issued online hence, in case of loss of ID card student can download it from their IGNOU Samarth Student account. For the old IGNOU Student who has taken offline admission and has lost the ID Card can get a new ID from their Regional Centre. Such student need to visit RC with one photograph and any government ID Card. There is NO need to pay any fee for getting new ID card. Also FIR is not required for the same.
In case, any learner has misplaced the Identify Card issued by the University, it is mandatory to apply for a duplicate Identity Card to the Regional Centre concerned well before commencement of the examinations so as to get a duplicate ID Card in time. Learners without valid ID Card will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre premises. Students who have taken admission online can download their ID Card online.
