How to Apply for IGNOU Term End Exam (TEE) , Check your IGNOU Exam Eligibility.

Steps for IGNOU Exam form filling 

Student need to fill the exam form online, if they want to appear for exam. Eligible students are required to login to their student account at IGNOU SAMARTH PORTAL. If you have already registered on the Student Portal, you may login and submit the examination form.

Instruction for students who are filling exam form first time

Such students are required to Register on the Samarth portal by clicking NEW REGISTRATION and following the instructions. After successful Registration they need to login again and proceed for exam form submission. In case of any difficulty in registering on the Student Portal, you make seek assistance from Virtual Guide here.

Students are required to go through the detailed instructions published on the Samarth Portal before submitting their Examination Form.  Check General Guidelines for IGNOU exam form submission.

Selection of IGNOU Exam Center

Student can select any IGNOU exam center across the india. Student need to select the desired exam center while filling the exam form. It is not mandatory to write exam under your Parent Regional Center.

Mode of IGNOU Examination

IGNOU offers exam in two modes. While filling Exam form as a first step student need to select the Mode of Examination. Later on they can proceed for exam center, Course code selection etc.

Two modes of Exam are PPT and CBT mode. PPT means Pen & Paper Test / Mode while CBT means Computer Based Test . Students are required to fill the Examination Form carefully choosing the Pen & Paper Mode or CBT Mode, Courses and Exam Centre.

PPT mode is just like our conventional exam system. In PPT mode student need to type the answer on computer system allocated to them. In both CBT and  PPT mode student need to write the exam at the exam center established by IGNOU. 

IGNOU Exam form filling for Practical / Lab Courses

Select your practical / lab courses also from drop down menu and pay the fee (if applicable to your programme). Generally Practical exam center are the study center  for OLD Students. Be in contact their Regional Centre for Venue and schedule of Practical exams.

For OL student practical exam is conducted proctored online mode. 

IGNOU Exam date clash

The date clashes in the event of courses, opted from the same Group and backlog paper will not be considered.

Points to keep in mind Before you start filling exam :

  • Submitted the assignment for the paper(s) you want to apply for TEE.
  • Choose Exam center as per your convenience from the list of available exam center . Note: As per university norms exam center can not be changed once allotted.
  • Course code you are applying for exam is registered under your Admission detail at University website.
  • Completed minimum duration for the course you are applying for :

►  Fee to be paid online using Credit Card, Debit Card, Netbanking Etc

►  Keep the control number generated by system safely for future reference .


 

Fill offline Application for Early Declaration of Results:

In the interest of Learners, IGNOU has a provision of early declaration of results. Students who have got offer of admission and or selected for job etc and are required to produce mark sheet by a specified given date can apply for early declaration of results.

Such needy students are required to fill the form of Early Declaration of Result and apply.

  • The fee for early declaration of result is Rs 1000/- per course.
  • Fee to paid in form of DD in favour of IGNOU along with the attested photocopy of the offer of admission/ employment etc as proof.
  • Requests for early declaration  to be submitted before the commencement of the Term-end Examination i.e., before 1st  June and 1st December respectively.
  • This form should reach to SED, HQ before the commencement of Examination.
