IGNOU Entrance exam result declared on 28 February 2024. The IGNOU Result of Entrance Test of PhD / BEd / BSCN(PB) of January 2024 Session admisision has been published. This exam was conducted on  7 January 2024. Students can check their result now.  student need to enter the enrollment number to check the result. This enrollment number can be found on hall ticket. Result of IGNOU entrance exam for B.Ed and BSCN delcared (January 2023 Session) on 1st April 2023. The candidate who has written the exam can check their result now. This exam was conducted on 8th January 2023 for admission session of January 2023. Qualifying in the Entrance Test does not mean an offer of admission. Counselling for qualified candidates will be conducted at respective Regional Centres (RC) based on region wise meritlist/ Rank and availability of seats in that RC. Counselling date will be intimated to the students by respective Regional Center. Student need to bring relevent / Required original certificates for verification during counselling.

IGNOU conducts various entrance examinations for the intake in various courses offered by IGNOU. IGNOU offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program for the candidates who want to become a teacher or want to make their career as teaching faculty. The candidates who are interested to build their career in Nursing field and want to get admitted to the IGNOU Nursing program (BSCN) have to pass an entrance examination that is conducted by the university every year for January admission session.

Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) to impart free coaching to aspiring SC Students for Civil Services and other competitive examinations as per the recommendations of the DAF. Admission will be done through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University. Prospective candidates can apply Online. IGNOU offers admission in Ph.D programme via entrance examination which is conducted through out the India. The minimum course duration for a particular Ph.D. program is 3 years and the maximum duration for completing the program is 6 years.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been chosen by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India to set up the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE). The objective of DACE is to empower the Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates by providing them high quality coaching absolutely free of cost for civil services Examinations (Prelims and Mains).
Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) to impart free coaching to aspiring SC Students for Civil Services and other competitive examinations as per the recommendations of the DAF. As per the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment this specialized coaching will be provided only to the Scheduled Caste students for the Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC.

Selection Criteria for CET:
- The Scheme shall be open to only Scheduled Caste candidates.
- Minimum eligibility will be Graduation in any subject. Those who are appearing in the Graduation final year exams are expected to submit a pass certificate at the time of commencement of the Coaching Program.
- All candidates must provide their duly attested caste certificates issued by competent authority.
- The selected candidates can avail the coaching facility only once, irrespective of the chances available to him or her.
- The candidates should not have received similar benefits from the government under any other scheme. An affidavit to this effect should be furnished by the candidate.
- Maximum of 100 candidates shall be selected.
- Out of the 100 seats, 33 per cent shall be reserved for women candidates.
- Attendance Register of student enrolment and attendance shall be maintained.
- Accountability of the candidate leaving the said Course in between will be properly fixed and entire fees will be recovered from the candidate.

Admission will be done through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University. Prospective candidates can apply Online through www.ignou.ac.in  at  https://dace.ignouonline.ac.in/. The Entrance exam will have 100 objective type questions to test the candidates’ general knowledge, language skills, reasoning abilities and general aptitude.
