IGNOU encourage students, by providing extension in deadline for various activity, to COMPLETE their academic activity. These last date extensions are notified time to time by official notification.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) issues the notification for last date extension on Assignment and Exam Form. SED also monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submissions and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.
