Change Of IGNOU Examination Centre
IGNOU Exam form submission for TEE June 2025 session was closed first week of May 2025 (with late FEE). For Change of IGNOU Exam center, student need to visit the Regional Center under which their new exam center falls in. Change of exam center is not permitted online, student need to request regional centre offline (walk-in) or via email for the same.
Regional center to start taking the request for change of IGNOU exam centre in June 2nd week. For IGNOU exam centre change request student can visit/ approach Concerned Regional center after 9 June 2025 onward.
Alternatively Student need to make a request via email to preexam@ignou.ac.in and registrarsed@ignou.ac.in. Student should mention the strong reason for change of exam center.
Some students who could not apply for exam online can visit the RC where they need to pay of Rs. 1100/- (Late Fee) plus Rs. 200/- per course. The supplementary hall ticket for exam form /addition of courses will be issued by RCs.
Please note: The facility is extended for emergency cases with proper justification.
The change of Exam Centre request within Delhi NCR & within Jammu city will not be permitted.

Key Note :
1. Change of Exam centre within same city is not permitted.
2 Change of exam centre request can be made ONLY ONCE.
3. Change of exam centre is just a request not the right of student.
Why exam centre is different than i filled online ?
Sometimes student may notice that the exam centre filled by student is different from exam center on the HALL TICKET. It is because of the non-availability of the seats at the Exam center filled by the student while submitting exam form and hence University shifts such students to the nearest available Exam center. Exam center will be allocated on “First Come First Serve” basis.
