IGNOU Entrance Exam for B.Ed., BSC(Nursing) and PGDRPC
IGNOU invites application for admission to the B.Ed., BSC(Nursing) and PGDRPC Programme. Aspirants are informed that the application forms of entrance test for B.Ed., BSC (N) and PGDRPC has been live through the Samarth portal. Student need to apply online before the last date. The last is different for all these programmes.
B.Ed Criteria and last date (for January, 2026 session)
Last date to submit IGNOU BED Entrance Exam form is 27 February 2026.

Duration of exam : 2 Hours
B.Ed Eligibility criteria
Admission shall be done on the basis of fulfilling the eligibility criteria i.e.
(i) 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation Degree;
(ii) “Applicants need to ensure that they have done NCTE recognized courses in face-to-face mode to be eligible for admission to B.Ed. Programme”
AND
The score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India.
The candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with self-attested copies of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form. The original documents are to be submitted later for verification, after receiving an offer letter for admission.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (BSCN-PB) Criteria and last date

Duration of Exam : 2.30 Hours
BSCN (PB) Eligibility
In-service Nurses i.e. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme, should have a certificate in any of the Nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
OR
In-service Nurses (RNRM) having 10 th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years
of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession. (For males nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme, should have a certificate in any of the
nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
Note: Candidates with 10+2 and GNM must not apply if experience after RNRM is less than two years. Candidates with 10 th class and GNM must not apply if having less than 5 years experience after RNRM.
PGDRPC Criteria and last date for July 2026 Session
Last date to submit IGNOU PGDRPC Entrance Exam form is 05 March 2026

Duration of exam : 1.30 Hours , MCQ with negative marking
Eligibility Criteria (As per RCI Norms & Regulations, 2017)
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
► Bachelor’s Degree (Regular Mode) with General Psychology as a subject in all three years; OR
► Master’s Degree in any branch of Psychology, either in regular or distance mode; OR
► Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, either in regular or distance mode (Minimum Marks Requirement: 55% marks in aggregate for General category, 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates, Entry qualification must be obtained from a UGC-recognised University).
