Guidelines on Clash of Exam Date / Session – June 2026
IGNOU has issued a detailed guidelines about clash of exam date. Student may see, in some cases their exam courses are falling in same date and same session. The case where request for change of exam dates will not be entertained is given below.
Students are advised to read the below guidelines about the clash of exam.
A). The clash of exam date/session will not be considered in the following cases:
- The courses are from the same group (Group-1 to Group-6) as the exam of courses in a particular group is conducted on same date and time.
- The courses are backlog courses (from different years).
- The courses are from different Programmes.
- In Management Programmes (MP), courses from different specialization.
B). No request for change in dates for the courses will be entertained. The exam of courses in below group are conducted on same date and time.
